Neil Innes was born in Essex on December 9th 1944 and a bit later on, he studied at the Norwich School of Fine Art.

He is perhaps best known for being a member of The Bonzo Dog Doodah Band and later, The Rutles.

Neil provided many a musical interlude for Monty Python perhaps most famously in the form of Brave Sir Robin's Minstrel. He also featured in Series 4 of Monty Python, and was victorious against the gladiator in Life Of Brian.

And come on, the man voiced "The Raggy Dolls". Altogether now, "If you've got a lump on your nose, or bumps on your toes...."
